+1 Please I am losing my mind.

I specced Gale as a Necromancer and the amount of NPCs aggroing I have to put up with its driving me up the wall to the point where I dont feel the desire to even use his summons.

I was recently in Act 2 in a cutscene with Zevlor and the pod survivors in the bowls of Moonrise when our party got aggroed mid dialogue because one of the friendly NPCs decided to get too close to the zombie Gale had cast lol After reloading a save and dismissing it only to re-summon one again said NPC then chased me all the way to the descent into the Elder Brain lair. It was both infuriating and hilarious.

Almost every day I'm seeing people complain they can't properly play the game because of summon reactions. If they don't disable reactions in patch 3 we will have to keep making a fuss even harder until they figure out it was a terrible anti-fun idea that's not even immersive. Like why does this only effect friendly NPCs? Why aren't enemies being scared out of their mind by a cute wolf?

"NPCs will no longer run away from anything but the Dark Urge Slayer form to improve interactivity and flow."

Looks like we did it! I can't edit the OP anymore.

Testing it with an already existing ranger, NPCs don't seem to care if I have a wolf around anymore. Tested at the grove and goblin camp. Thank you Larian! Now I'll finally be able to enjoy summon builds.

Honestly no I really like that NPCs run from summons, yeah sometimes it's annoying having to chase after a shopkeeper because they're scared of my bear but it's really useful having my summon "corral" enemies I haven't pissed off yet so I can get better AOE damage on them before the fight begins, or scaring the rest away so I can get a sneak kill in without alerting the rest of them and avoiding a big fight

Seems like they really fixed it with the newest patch. Alas my skeletons are now spawning without a bow due to a new bug laugh https://www.reddit.com/r/BaldursGate3/comments/16phjnf/skeletons_spawn_with_no_bows/

Maybe with the next patch I will finally be able to play
