Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Help Tips & Tricks macOS Release Updates?

Does anyone know why on Steam it shows the MacOS for the game, is it not actually on Steam? I was going to purchase it over the weekend because it seems that its a MacOS version for Steam, but from reading various forums it seems that its actually misleading.
