I have encountered a strange bug.

I am playing a co-op campaign with three of my friends. Each of us is controlling a single custom character. I create a Wizard/Necromancer. I have been able to summon familiars and skeletons without any problems. But my friend is playing a rogue/ranger multiclass. Whenever he summons his animal companion, the party immediately enters combat against his animal companion and the game will not let us exit combat until we kill his animal companion. The same thing happened when he used the ability of a temporary Myconoid follower to animate dead. The has prevented my friend from using any summoning abilities, including the core ability of his ranger subclass.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? Does anyone know of a fix.

Thanks for the help.

Just to be sure. He isn't wearing the Abyss Beconers gloves is he?

He is not.

I have conducted some further research. This seems to be related to a problem with Sovereign Glut. My friend used Glut's animate dead ability on Gekh Coal after we killed Gekh as part of Glut's quest. This trigger combat with the animated Glut so we just killed him again and move on. Apparently this has permanently broken my friend's character, and he can no longer summon anything without pulling to party into combat.

I still have not found a fix for this problem, unfortunately.
