I would rather have full facial customization before anything else anyway, mods can't do that, they also only give more pre sets.
That would depend partly on what Larian come up with in terms 'full modding support'. Modded full facial customisation exists for other games.
This is the 10 year old Racemenu for Skyrim LE
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29624?tab=imagesThere are other mods which add to that mod.
My main point was that there is no reason it cannot be a feature of the game as most other games have managed to do it for many years. My secondary point was that modders seem to be able to do it easily enough.
You seem to not understand how mods work at all. They cannot add to the game something that does not exist in the first place. Racemenu was only possible because sliders existed in Skyrim from the beginning. And that's the problem with Larian and BG3. Their CC is outdated (seriously, Mass Effect ONE had better one, if not Oblivion) garbage that limits us in every way possible. You cannot simply fix it with a mod. It requires fundamental changes in the game's engine. In all other cases we will be limited with presets - even with mods.
You know, how many presets I've counted for male human from ALL mods available on Nexus for BG33 since the beginning 3 years ago? LESS than 10. And from those 6 or 8 I find only 1 acceptable for me. Still better than Larian which doesn't provide ANY acceptable human male faces. It's also funny because they've promised better animations because of the faces THEY chose to provide. Guess what, animations looks far better for that custom face I've downloaded.
