The very rare clothing seems very cool BUT that rare clothing raising my Dex to 18 seems like a pretty big deal too for Wyll! Gives him an extra + on his ranged and off-hand attacks. I'm leaning toward the Very Rare, but wanted to get opinions.

Which clothing for Wyll The Warlock?
single choice

That depends on what you do with Wyll. Is he a bladelock and melee? Then I would rather go with s good armor, he uses his Cha modifier for attacks.
In the Githyanki crčche you can get gloves that give you 18 Dex, if you want to buff his armorclass more.

If he is full caster, then use the potent robe for more EB damage.

He's a dual-wielder pact blade but if he wears no armor he can use his mage armor equivalent power, so I keep him in clothing only. My main has the 18 Dex gloves!

I mean, then use the Dex clothing and see, if that gives you enough armor. You find pretty good armor later on, even one, that lets you keep the Dex bonus ( and he still has a +3 without the robe), so wear the robe until then. The armor I'm talking about is medium, but if I remember correctly, bladelock gets medium armor proficiency. If not, maybe give him that feat later.

Potent Robe.

The other one is so hideous it's not worth my time to learn the name.

edit:

that's weird dual wielding man. Rapier on Left hand lmao.

Councellor Florrick's favorite Warlock.

That's because anything he uses in the main hand he can become proficient with using "Bind Weapon." On the left hand it has to be something he's proficient with that's light and finesse! So the best weapon has to go on the right! But yeah it's weird to have a short sword as your main and a rapier as your off-hand but that's just how he has to roll!

Potent Robe is significantly better.

If you are using that bow instead of Eldritch Blast you are diminishing your combat effectiveness by quite a bit. Even without the robe, EB is the better choice.

And extra +1 on weapon attacks vs an extra +4 on each eldrich blast hit (stacks with agonizing blast). No contest.

Also that ribcage look is just horrible.

Monk robe.

Not lock robe.

It's ugly as hell, too.

Yes, I'm talking about the blue quality one. Potent robe is one of, if not the best lock/sorc robe in game and I am incredibly disappointed I didn't get it on my sorcerer.
