Just a few personal thoughts on the game.
I really enjoyed the Early Access and was stoked for the full release. ACT 1 was altered enough to make it good to replay without being boring. Act 2 was even better, I was really eager to get to Baldurs Gate, but Act 3 has left me a bit deflated and occasionally frustrated:-
- Very little direction as to what to do next
- Too much going on in too small a space
- Party seems to be underpowered for a lot of the encounters. This leads you to wander around trying to find something to do next in order to level up.
- Some events seem to be virtually impossible unless you party is made up of characters of a specific class. Spoils the role play a little.
- Some classes seem to be underpowered for their level (rogue/assassin) - Fighters and Magic Users seem to be the best choice - could be my bad choices when levelling/using the Illithid powers

- Too spoiled for choice as to what to do next and wondering will this adversely impact another quest line if I do it.
Sometimes I feel I'm doing things in the wrong order and have to keep going back to earlier saves to try a different route, which just isn't immersive.
