Does anyone know if Minthara has another romance scene later in the game? Now that’s she’s fixed I’m hoping her romance is up to par with the other companions

She's supposed to, but the new wall everyone is running into is that after a newly restored conversation to affirm the romance flag when your approval is high enough (Withers will recognize a Minthara romance after this conversation), she'll imply a newly restored scene will happen when you rest for the night and then it does not. This can happen in Act 2 if her approval is high enough then rather than in Act 3. So whatever scene is supposed to trigger doesn't, and while it seems some ambient chatter about her romance state is working, any other romance content in direct dialogues with her is still bugged to hell. It's possible some of the MANY people discussing there only being one restored conversation may have somehow locked themselves out of more since Minthara is not open to poly and thus any prior romance engagements in the save may be tripping some other flag with her but it seems that the case is simply that her very stupid bug remains very stupid and buggy. I'd love to see all the scenes working on a save Larian has access to because no one else seems to have it working.

A lot of people over on reddit are coping by insisting you must obviously just need to start a fresh save to test if the restorations will appear in full that way, but would you believe fewer and fewer people are actually willing to put yet another 20+ hours into bug-testing this.

l started a new save for her, and, to be quite honest, the whole "Minthara romance patch" was quite a joke. l don't want to be a bother, but they only fix a small thing that wasn't able to move her along... and nothing else. She still dosen't have interactions to a lot of things happening, things that all the companions have. You can"t kiss her, you can't talk about your relation wth her... She dosen't get mad if you sleep with Mzora, for some reason Wyll is the one that came to see me. She dosen't speak with the Drow twins, and dosen't do anything if you ge there with Astarian. She is a romance how dosen't have ANYTHING of the things that the other romances have, l pretty sure it's bugged.

l was expecting to play again with Minthara, because l really like her... but she still as bugged as she was before. The only thing that changed is one interaction... and that's all.

when we went to camp we had a cut scene that ended with "gonna visit you when we go to bed"
went to bed. nothing happened and now she is bugged again

I've updated my game to patch 3 and I still don't get the scene even though she says tonight I will be hers. Might have to restart the adventure for the fix to apply

Starting a new save doesn't affect it at all. Her romance interactions are just bugged still. Patch 3 didn't adjust anything about the bugged romance, it fixed other bugs she's associated with like her dialogue after an Act 2 boss being stuck on repeat until you killed and resurrected her.

Hotfix 9 might have changed that, i'll download it and prob see tomorow

I am hoping that hotfix 9 fixed her romance. I will be starting a new playthrough so I will find out if I decide to romance her.

I'm sure they will continue bug-fixing to high heavens until a definitive edition arrives.

PSA: Apparently they seem to be unter the impression that her romance has been fixed, even though players still report it not working properly.
Some people have gotten the response that it should be working as of the latest patch, which it doesn't.


If you run into issues with her romance, for example do not get her camp kiss option, please do submit a bug report!

Does it mean Larian actually has a fullly animated and voiced romance scene for her in Act 2 or 3 but it just does not trigger properly? My frame of reference is an equivalent of

I dont know about that aspect of her romance. I only know that at least the kisses are still bugged.

I finished my 2nd PT. I started it with patch 4, and followed the evil route to romance Minthara. Only after the massacre of the druid grove did the patch 5 come out.

So I did get the bedscene after the victory celebration with the goblins, when she also tried to kill me.
Then I saved her at moonrise towers and let her join the party.
Since then I always got "the cold shoulder". The cutscenes with her didn't allow for private conversations, i.e. about us.
