Hey River, why don't you try what Thunderclees did in his most recent post - he had to contact his ISP (internet provider) and see if they can disable a setting; the fact you and your husband are on the same ISP, means I would expect it to not work for both of you if anyone.

It's not an ideal workaround and I am curious what kind of solution Larian could develop; but this should allow you to start enjoying the game.
