Karlach deserves to have a happy ending and I think most--if not every--Karlach fan can agree to that. So I'm sure Larian will see that we really want to be able to fix her engine and add a quest as soon as they're able to get the team together. With so many people calling for it, I'm feeling positive about the eventual outcome.
