Hello,

I still don't understand WHY the absolute killed Dribbles, the clown ....? I found his head and have the mission to find "him"after I killed the "false" Dribbles at the circus ...

In the Underground I found a few corpse in chains (one had Dribbles head in her bag) .... don't understand why they are lying like this .... don't know why they have his head.

Is there somewhere a hint?

Thanks!

I couldn't understand why I was even assigned such a ridiculous quest as to find the body parts of some clown, famous or not. Of course I didn't bother completing it.

I know there's a place for humour and such, but on what grounds would a 12th level character who has defeated an avatar of death, and is on a quest to save themselves, their companions and Baldur's Gate, take on such a quest??

It breaks the 4th wall simply to present the completionist with something extra to do.

The circus leader is a necromaner ... she could have some ... "use" for his body-parts.

I honestly didn't even try looking for those bodyparts.
To quote Astarion:'Clowns are horror'.

I think it's all mostly a joke. Apparently beloved figures getting gruesomely murdered is just Tuesday in Baldur's Gate. I basically ignore the whole thing.

Eh I think you're taking it a bit too seriously. Even in BG2, Throne of Bhaal, when your characters were epic-level and basically walking demigods, there were still some silly quests along the way.

He was cut into pieces because piece was never an option.
