Dear @Larian, dear developer, Thanks for this incredible journey you gave us: Thanks for your creativitiy, your intelligence and your power! You gave us so mutch with this wonderful game! It was like a wild ride on a comet! Of course: Please fix the bugs and polish BG3 a bit. There is still some work to do. We know. And we see and value your effort! Also: Please consider to guide this game to "even more perfection". Please consider to make DLC's. We don't want that this wonderful journey ends here. Please take a look to our ideas and consider to go this path further with us, your fans - your ommunity. @ALL PLEASE: NO discussion here!!! Please: Keep this thread as "small" as possible, so we have a chance that somebody take a look. If we start argue .... it would destroy the intention of this thread PLEASE: Post your DLC idea here. You can also discribe a bit what you mean. Try to keep it short. Thanks for your attention! .

My ideas for DLC's:A new companion: The Companion construction kitLet's go new "paths", let's keep Larian's idea of players freedom alive & make something NEW, let's make not just " the next companion", let's have a companion construction kit! I had the idea when I made the Guardian in the character creation ... and when I saw him ingame "MY" designed guardian, I was flasehd. But I don't liked his personality so mutch ... I thought: How would it be, if I would be a little bit my own developer team. If I decide myself how the companion will be ... You have a companion construction kit. Of course you can decide only "a few things" (more is probably not realizable), but ... You decide: Female or male. And than you have about 4 races to choose from. Of course you choose the class and the skills. You CAN'T choose the name (so the other NPC's can adress her/him and talk about her/him). And you choose how this companion will look like!! Ingame this character is by your side from the beginning. He have as many dialouge options like the "real big" companions AND she/he can be romancable (OR NOT and be just a very close friend or enemy, whatever you want). A real "home" A home in a little sphere or somehwere hidden. You can take only one companion there ... something like this. Something that does NOT make this new home to a competition to "the camp". Here you can design a little bit and choose some decor. AND: You can hang some paintings on the wall. Just a bit customization. Of course you have a chest or two. And a wardrobe with a mirror. New area: DrowA new area with new adventures would be great. I really love the Drow and would LOVE a area with a little Drow town ... more Drider and stuff like this. Of course NOT Menzoberranzan, just a small village with a lot of mean Drow. New area: Upper City of Baldurs GateA new area with new adventures would be great. The town Baldurs Gate was huge ... but could be bigger .... we still missing the 3. part of it (smallest one I think): Let's go to the rich upper city. Imagine BG3 would have some Patches/Bugfixes (for free) AND all this four DLC's (buy what you want). It would be ..... .... next Level. And the best: If you don't like a DLC - don't buy it. It is not a game-breaker if you don't have it. .

- DLC Subclass pack (subclasses I'd love to see are: Swashbuckler rogue, Grave domain cleric, Kensai monk, Oath of the Crown paladin (yes, I know most of them are available as mods but official ones would be prefered) )

I was about to start almost the same thread about Drow DLC & ofc Upper city\Avernus DLC As for Drow themed DLC...I think it should be great, not to mention how little attention Drow get, the only good Drow themed game was NwN: Hordes of the Underdark, which combined 3 awesome themes, Hells, Waterdeep & Underdark, how cool is that? Wish we can have an expanshion like this... Anyway, why not Menzoberranzan? Its population is like x4-5 times lesser than Baldur's Gate population. Menzoberranzan could be introduced in Expansion. Before I was thinking about Nine Hells\Avernus\Snow themed DLC but Underdark should be much more interesting, not to mention how beatiful Underdark and how unique Drow culture is...also Beholders, Mindflayers, Minotaurs, Driders, etc such a great enemies, classic. As for Driders...Larian made a custom skeleton, single model just for 1 drider character...it's great but usually such things happen when Devs plan to use such skeleton\model in future projects, so yeah, there is a small hope for Drow themed content As for the rest DLC stuff: 1. Transmog 2. Magic Mirror 3. Crafting(looks like a cut content) 4. DLC which brings back as much cut content as possible 5. Endless dungeon DLC could be nice as well. Hello to Pathfinder

1. More / deeper party NPC + romance interactions / Banter Pack whatever DLC - Make it so party NPCs have even more to say - make it so that more romance scenes trigger and can be initiated by the player 2. More dynamic camp - make it so that NPCs don't just stand around in camp, but actually DO someting. Gale playiong fetch with Scratch, Wyll and Karlach talking, Lae'Zel and Shadowheart fighting. 3. Alfira NPC and romance 4. Epilogue Postgame DLC - make it so that after the final battle, the party and all major npcs gather somewhere and the player can actually talk to them and have a celebration or something like that. 5. Adventure DLCs, e.g.: - Avernus - Baldur's Gate upper city - some drow city in the underdark But what I really want is a fix to all the narrrative inconsistencies in the game, especially concerning the Emperor and Orpheus

Legacy: Just add some more stuff from the past games and one or two more old friends return. Aerie is most obvious. Minsc should be with his witch, she's not very old, and very easy to justify showing up anywhere; just generally wanting to help and protect people from abuse like she suffered, stand by who she's realized are her real family (Jaheira & Minsc), or just having a bit of an explore and wander as her religion pretty much commands her to. And if you need to make her cooler - even though Minsc and I think she's pretty cool already - then sure - give her back her freaking wings (I would make them magic wings that can appear and disappear since she doesn't consider herself truly Avariel by this point), or the ability to summon Rocket Raccoon - sorry; Chiktikka Fastpaws. That would tie the whole trilogy together, but then possibly you could also have a descendant of another character, or another elf from BG1.
If it’s too much to add them to the main game at this point, maybe have a separate little campaign where Jaheira sends a bunch of oldies on another mission, with Aerie going along as their carer.

New Campaign
I would love to see Larian develop a new campaign (level 1 to 12 again). It could be set in Baldurs Gate or a new region and just make use of the existing engine and a lot of the existing assets. Would allow them to do MANY DLC over time, charge a fair price ($30) and keep the game fresh.

Wellll, I doubt there's going to be DLC. But if I could dream, my number one wish would be a development pack that let players create their own adventures within the BG3 engine, akin to Neverwinter. Not that I think this is likely to happen, but still, it would humongously extend the value of the game more than any other one single thing.

- A divine subclass pack, that crams as many divine subclass options, celestial warlock, divine soul sorcerer, zealot barbarian, stars druid... as well as aasimar as a species. This is a good pack to have as its easy enough to poach cleric and paladin reactivity. Also This pack couldgive us some expanded diety options like Shar, the dead 3, and SILVANUS for the love of god. Let us pick a diety for the acolyte background, and chose between deity or oath for paladins.
- an Avernus DLC... We get dragged to Avernus by Auntie Ethels sisters (They were heavily implied in act 1, I want to see them!) on the way to Baldur's gate, and avernus becomes a place we can visit throughout. This is also a chance for us to revisit evil NPC's who died during Act 1 and 2, and maybe even get some redemption for some of them... some updates to Karlach to make her happy ending possible. As well it could be a way of introducing us to a certain hell-store owning NPC, whose presence is poorly telegraphed in act 3. There is no end of fun to an Avernus DLC, and its a great place to bring back cut content to!
- Helia, this companion went through the ringer in early access, and was updated many times, and they never quite worked out what they wanted her to be. Well... I think they missed the obvious. GOBLIN MONK! They knew they wanted her to be a small folk, but switched between gnome, and halfling, but they couldnt decide on the class. Well I am telling you know, a werewolf (or... werewarg?!) monk is where its at, especially if she can do partial transformation stuff ot nehance her unarmed strikes! (also trust me, if you make a sexy goblin girl, you will get more DLC sales than anyone ever)...
- Heck it, playable goblin species! There was clearly a shit ton of work done on them so why not.
- An Industry pack. This would include Artificer, Warforged, and a select few firearms.

A prelude game: The Battle of Reithwin
Wherein we get to play characters who existed back when the town of Reithwin started turning away from Selune and toward Shar. We become a part of that struggle and *really* get to know the Thorm family. It culminates in the final battle with the Harpers, including a young Halsin.
Wherein we learn more about Thaniel, the spirit of the land.
--the results of this prelude have some sort of impact on the full game, within reason.

All I can say is... Goliath and Goblin playable races. Goliaths are my favorite to play in 5e and I have a goliath barbarian right now in one of my games that I adore and I want to emulate my big dumb viking himbo in BG3. Also goblins, because why not. And Hobogoblins. Who says they just have to be the bad guys? And while it will probably never happen since it's third party content in 5e, Bloodhunter playable class. It's one of my favorite classes

Bigger DLCs I want to see: 1. I would really like to know what Halsin's up to in Thaniel's realm and go there to help out and save them from some unexpected dangers and what not. Just really want to see what the place looks like without the shadow curse and explore all of it.
2. Kind of want to knock Vlaakith from her throne too, and I think that would make a great DLC, be it with knew characters or existing ones.
3. But knowing the difficulties with higher levels and the work of creating completely new areas, I'd just love to have a new campaign in the existing area, perhaps set prior to the events of this story and with new 1-12 characters.
Minor DLCs and fixes I'd love to see is: 1. Fixing the narrative problems of the current game (like Emperor/Orpheus, fixing Karlach, Lae'zel/Orpheus) 2. More companion interactions, more one-on-one cinematics especially with romanced companions, but also with just friends (friends can meet up and have a chat too, you know) 3. Romance that is initiated by player and can be unlocked at any stage of the journey if approval is high enough (sometimes love takes a while to develop, so...) 4. Alfira being recruitable
And finally, I would like to keep playing even after the game is finished. Like, just let me run around in the world and talk to people and perhaps buy a house somewhere or help rebuild or what not. Give me actual endgame content. Like, let me find the The Adamantine Forge after the game is over if I didn't do it earlier, explore caves, fight monsters, etc. Let me return to the grove and see how they are faring. The world is already there, let me explore it freely.
(And, you know Gale sort of invited me to dinner at his home in Waterdeep after all of this was over, and I'd hate to stand him up, so please let me go there, ;-) )

Quick suggestion for the OP - here is a link to that recent thread where you can direct general discussions about the relative merits of DLC, or Larian's previous approaches to this stuff. You can drop it in the lead post, and that way people have a place to go for that. https://forums.larian.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=894804#Post894804These are feedback discussion boards, so we want discussion right? Just a discussion about what sorts of things we would like, in the hopes it might make a sticky, as opposed to a discussion about DLC in the abstract. For that hit the other thread. I dislike the word "Content" the C in DLC, since the big streamers have ruined that word for me now, but the Content I'd be most interested in for BG3 is probably stuff for the shorties, since that's largely absent from the current game and was discussed at length during EA. Halflings and Gnomes, Dwarves, Duergar - add to this Goblins and you got a winner I'd say! On topic, the main thing I want from a BG3 Expansion, is the same thing I wanted from the base game, which is Char Creation material. If this is attached to stuff like an extended Dungeon Crawl ala Durlag's for an anticlimax that'd be great! I really want a portrait making suite, where we can create our own unique status portraits using the lego building blocks they've given us here, and then to do the same for the avatar with gestural and emotive options that we can select from drop down categories the same way we can choose faces or haircuts. I've noticed, and maybe you have too, that even though the Full Release has dropped, the Feedback and Suggestions for BG3 have in no way abated. As if Early Access never concluded, or continues until the Definitive Edition or whatever. I fully expected this, because BG3 isn't any old game. It's a Forgotten Realms Dungeons & Dragons game, so like of course there'd be no shortage of opinions and suggestions on this front. The floodgates are open now. I guess Mac players are still technically in EA waiting on their full game, but for the most part, everyone is here now. Can we really expect major overhauls or additional material at this point, if they don't announce a proper sequel or expansion to keep us all sated and patient? Do we need to direct our feedback at Nexus now, or the Modding section? Like where do we go from here? hehe Are they still watching this spot? Maybe, I don't know, but I guess this falls along those lines. The EA for this game has been pretty monumental in scope, and probably holds some interest on that alone, just from a game development/art historical standpoint. Keep it going! Aim for the heights. Seize the high ground!

Nothing original here (and i hope OP will forgive me). +1 to Menzoberranzan I really wish to see dark campaign, and drow society. Their culture have potential for dark/mystery/crime/politics stories. Also, i see a lot of people wants Avernus... what about entire journey through Nine Hells? We could reuse fact about stealing x from Mephisto (i don't remember what was that), or reason could be just simply escape from hell? or something original, new. Or reuse Wyll, Karlach as a reason. I don't have great ideas because i don't have knowledge about lore.

I would prefer a full-blown sequel that evolves the Larian games in the same vein as the jumps from DOS1 to DOS2 to BG3, but if we're talking DLC...
-Something that expands the current game before the end. Extending the Underdark through Acts 2 and 3 could be very fun, and give us a Drow city-state maybe. Alternatively, fleshing out the city of Baldur's Gate to include the Upper City and some new districts, or let us explore the outskirts of the other side of the city. I would also take an extended Shadowfell Area in Act 2 to give a certain character more development, and elaborate on the Shar storyline. This area seems relevant to both Halsin and Shadowheart.
-Postgame content, which would likely take place either in the Astral Sea or Avernus. For all the mentions of Zariel, we never actually encounter her. The story with Vlaakith is also far from over. At the end of the game, two companion plot threads call for more story and point to activity either in the Astral Sea or Avernus. Also, there's no sun in the Astral Sea or in Avernus to accommodate a certain vampire.
-More levels.
-New Companion(s). Maybe another custom Origin like the Durge. (Dribbles, anyone?)
-More romance content.
-Friendships and Rivalries for companions.
-Flesh out camp companions.
-New content in areas in Acts that have been finished, and the option to return to them in the postgame. New threats to Druid Grove, or the Myconid Colony, or new expeditions to the Grymforge, or uncovering mysteries of the healing lands.
-New classes and subclasses. Maybe a new race.
Remember the human (This is a forum for a video game):

More legacy items. Like Angurvadal, Runehammer, Ravager, The Blessed Bracers, Carsomyr, Foebane, Wonderous Gloves, ond Hindo's Doom. These can be used to round out some weapon groups that are sorely lacking depth.
I'd also like to see class specific quests. Like if you're a warlock then maybe your patron asks you to fetch something (admittedly complicated since you've got three possible patrons with more options down the pipeline), a gladiator tournament for fighters, a heist for a rogue player. Stuff like that.

The DLC's don't have to be large at all. I'd prefer to see many small ones than one large one that sucks the living energy out of Larian's devs. Modular, shorter adventures e.g. Karlach and Wyll's journey to Avernus or Quests for specific famous magic items linked with dastardly villains or Rampaging dragon hunts!
