There are plenty of thread on the matter. In short, they don't care. They claim that know better what YOU want and that players are incapable of creating anything decent-looking. Their presets are the best, period.
Weird to say the least, I know, but it is what it is, our only hope is modders.

That said, mods are already there for this and more will keep coming (especially once official mod support will be out). Maybe Larian will add some more to the base game, who knows?
