So I adore BG3, but talking to my friends there is one thing we all share: having to fight the temptation to save scum. I’ve played D&D for over a decade and you obviously cant save before doing a roll at the table, yet sometimes in BG3 the temptation is really hard to resist.

I had an idea that there could possibly an option when creating a new campaign to make saving the game a resource like spell slots that resets on long rests, maybe have more if you choose explorer difficulty.

Yeah I know I’m essentially suggesting a feature to help with my own poor self control but games like Minecraft offer a hardcore difficulty that auto deletes saves when a player could just do it themselves, it helps players stay accountable for their choice of how they want to play.

Either way, BG3 is the game I’ve wanted my whole life and it’s amazing either way. smile
