yes it's a new dance called "the rift", and it's sung to "the twist"...
uhh, can we get food and drink here or is it a dry "homebase" ...... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/suspicion.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
RPG Vault...Lar said this...
[color:"orange"]Our main development goal with Riftrunner
is to bring the same easily accessible gameplay you found
in the first Divinity, without the weaknesses Divinity had. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />
and..later...
Riftrunner on the other hand is a bit more subtle. It is our stepping stone
to Divinity 2. We are not changing the front end that much,
but we're very busy on the back end. Translated, that means we listened
very closely to what fans have been saying, summarized what we've learned
from Divinity 1 and changed the gameplay mechanics accordingly.
Even more translated, that means we've basically reworked the RPG engine
that drove Divinity, and will release it with Riftrunner. Then we'll take
care of all the glitter and glamour, add it on top of this RPG engine,
and release that with Divinity 2. [/color]
sounds like one of the best
Christmas presents I'm gettin this year!!.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />
this somehow reminds me of the SW trilogy..
..how it started in the past, then jumped to the future,
and now working it's way back...not that it's bad....
actually it's a rather ingenious approach....
and leaves more opening for "options", in future efforts.. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />
