Hello. I've got this bug where all my companions can't go to camp, fast-travel, or leave the party when I tell them to.

This is how I think the bug happened. I was caught where I shouldn't have been in the Moonrise Towers dungeon/jail area, and all my party members got jailed. I snuck out with my main guy (rogue) to release my companions which led to a fight with the guards. In the fight, all my companions died and I ran away from the battle with my avatar. Following that I returned and fought and ran out of combat multiple times until I could get the key from the warden and get back my items. Then I used resurrection scrolls to bring my party to life and now they are bugged.

My understanding is that the game still sees my companions under arrest and doesn't allow them to fast-travel, although there isn't a debuff showing. I tried to get them arrested again so it resets the state, but all the prison guards are dead now, and breaking the "laws" just results in a fight, not throwing them into jail...

When I long-rest with my main guys the rest of the party just sleeps on the ground where I left them which is really immersion-breaking. The bigger problem is that I can't switch my active companions with these in camp now and I can't fast travel with my full party...

Any suggestions on how can I fix this?

This probably won't help but if you have a savefile before you tried to jail break your companions:

There's a hole on the cellfloor that you can jump into and escape. You will get a debuff saying you are a fugitive or something and that's supposed to disappear after a few turns.

That's how I got out with my rogue in the first place. I jumped in the hole, then broke the wall of the gnome's cell and the combat started, opening all gates and my party getting "freed". Later after I resurrected them I tried jumping down with my whole party but didn't get the debuff.

I don't really want to go back to an old save because a lot of happened since and I like how stuff is developing story-wise. smirk

Oof, that's really specific. Sorry I couldn't help!

Why didn't you just jump with everyone in the hole though?

I wanted to scout with my rogue in case it was dangerous down there, which it was, I barely escaped the creatures. After that, I thought it would be cool if I could free the rest of my party solo. Indeed it was an epic encounter, sneaking around, taking guards one by one, bating them into the shadows and constantly hiding and running away from battle when it gets too spicy. At one point I was on the 2nd floor of the warden tower and just throwing stuff at them or pushing them back down when they climbed the ladder. All that with basic weapons and without my potions/scrolls/throwables. (Now I know it's not a bad idea to leave some spare equipment at camp :D). It was really a great experience, too bad now I have to deal with this annoying bug.
