Is anyone else experiencing a really frustrating preferences reset whenever this game crashes to desktop?

1. Will be playing game
2. Game crashes instantly to desktop
3. When I restart it, I have to agree to EULA again, all preferences are reset
4. Yes, ALL preferences. Every. Single. One. It's like a fresh install. HDR settings, preferences, everything.
5. All tutorials are reset. I cannot opt to hide them. I'm going to have to see every tutorial pop-up again, no matter what my settings are
6. In all of my saved games, when I go to camp again, it will spawn a new camp stash, and the new stash will be the new target stash for "send to camp" actions. The new stash will also have all of the "new game" items such as the disguise helm, potions, etc.

Is this happening to anyone else? I can't be the only one. It's maddening.

Playing in Windows 11, DX11, RTX 4090 card.

Yap. I also get a duplicate storage chest in camp when that happens. Its about a 50/50 chance for me.

Started to make copies of all my config files so that all I do is cut and paste them back.

The crashing is happening so often for me now the game is pretty much unplayable unless Im saving every 30 seconds, its a constant crash/restart.

Disaster launch.

There were people reporting this a few weeks ago so it is not just you.

As far as the settings go I would imagine that there is a .ini file somewhere so try having a look for that. If you find it make a copy so you can just drop it back after a CTD.
