Now that the wardrobe has been implemented I think it would be beneficial to let players have their own custom character even when there is already 4 custom characters.
I have a friend group of 5 players, this being a 4 player game, when one of us can't make it one of us takes over and plays but we are forced to play someone else's character. Now that the wardrobe is in play we should be able to have as many custom characters as we do players, respecing everytime someone can't make it is annoying and heavy on gold.
How this would work is 3 players are already in the game and want to continue their campaign but their regular 4th is busy so they hit up the 5th player. Now that they put the 4th custom character in the closet the 5th player can join and have the wardrobe as a list of characters to pick along with making a new one, boom no more hassle of messing with your friends character and needing to respec.
