It would be nice if there were some reason to use this weapon. As it stands, it's just a dagger. It looks nice, which is why I'd like to be able to use it, but it's silly to use a dagger when I could use something better.

Maybe if there was a way to enchant it at some point? I don't know. It just feels like such a shame to have the neat looking dagger always sitting in my chest, never in my hand.

Baldur's Gate 3 - Needle of the Outlaw Rogue

I created the dagger that was part of the Digital Deluxe edition, a nod to Sebille's daggers from Divinity Original Sin 2.

It's a pretty boss dagger! I had it equipped till lvl 7 on my sorceress, even though it was purely cosmetic.

There were many better daggers, but none looked quite as cool! If we ran into an enchanter who could supe up our regular equipment I'd definitely keep it in my hand the whole time.

Also the Digital Deluxe artbook is gorgeous, but none of the artists are credited there individually. I thought this was a little odd. If they reprint the Artbook, I would love to see pgs 192-200 just for Artist profiles. Or perhaps an appendix or final chapter which focuses less on the concept art, and more on how the concept art was translated into the final stuff we see in game. Perhaps a little bio-blurb where a couple of the Artists tell us how they came into this thing, what they dig about D&D or BG, stuff like that.
