As for politically charged comments, they should have left out references to idpol and modern day politics and this wouldn't be a thing.
Calm, respectful discussion of specific political points that are directly relevant to the game and on topic for the thread is acceptable. Derogatory terms are not, and that includes appearing to refer to LGBT content in the game as “idpol” which will be understandably interpreted by many as dismissive and politically loaded and is not the sort of language we should be using in a global, diverse community like this. Remember we’re talking about things that relate to very personal aspects of many of our real lives.
