My game crashes sometimes. I figured it was normal, but I'm starting to think it's probably not. I do have limited storage at the moment, and that's probably the problem. I'm playing with about 20GB free on my computer... But I thought I'd hop over here and just see. I tried posting in Reddit and a few Facebook groups, but should have known I wouldn't really get an answer.

I mostly got the crashing to stop and was able to play for long periods of time. Until I hit Act 2. I'm in Last Light Inn right now and it's crashing WAY more than it was. I saw this was an issue last month after the last patch. But I couldn't really get any details.

Here's my PC specs for funsies:

ORIGIN PC
Windows 10, Ver 22H2
Processor: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-11400 @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz
RAM: 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)
Disk: Seagate BarraCuda 120 SSD ZA250CM10003
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060

Don't come at me for the small SSD. I had a spare drive I was going to use but when I installed it, it didn't work so now I'm waiting to buy another bigger SSD. I can get more info if needed. My PC should be able to run the game just fine, minus the space on the SSD. Is that what's really causing my crashing? Or is it something else? Is Last Light Inn a really big pain in the ass? Is this something that will be fixed? I literally bought this computer so I could play this game. I will cry if it's not enough (minus the SSD).

Ugh. Please send help.

Not sure if it's related, but I've been having serious problems with act two as well (see my post on cut scene hangs). I use an I7 windows 10 and an HDD rather than an SSD. No problems at all with the HDD so long as I keep the graphics on medium. A lot of people with older computers also have an HDD for storage. If you do then you might want to try using it and turning down the graphics (which still look great IMHO).

My computer is only two years old. I played hours of early access on it. I figured I'd have to update my SSD eventually. I'm having issues with my HDD not loading in the bios right now, so that's a no go. I'll probably just save up some money and get a bigger SSD. But from what little research I've done, it looks like a lot of people have issues in that part of Act 2. I've also heard people using AMD processors are having trouble with the game, but I don't know how factual that actually is.
