When I took the quest to find the corpse of a clown, I could not guess HOW MANY parts the corpse has. They are scattered all over Faerun! I found 6 fragments, but that's not all!
I ask you to forbid the screenwriter who came up with this to take drugs and read an anatomy textbook. Otherwise, in the next game we will be forced to assemble a Tyrannosaurus skeleton from 1500 parts.

I skipped this quest completely once I've realized there are more than just his head. Really, I'm not playing this kind of games for this kind of quests.
Whoever thought this should be fun plays MMO RPGs too often.

The worst part was simply not knowing if the parts are in the same area or not. I have spent so much time looking around in Rivington it's ridiculous. They should have made it clearer that parts are in other areas of the city. Also it honestly made no sense why he was so spread out - he wasn't murdered by Orin, though his bodyparts appear in places where Orin has committed murders. They should just redo this quest, imo. There's plenty of areas in Rivington with not much to do where theyu could have hidden all of the bodyparts.

PS: The reward is damn OP and will have you casting Magic Missile and Art of War up until the final boss because nothing else even comes close to the power level of that thing.

How many parts?

A game reviewer suggested the quest may well be a parody of mindless fetch and collect quests you so often find in crpgs (Dragon Age Inquisition for ex.) With the whole setup (Dribbles is supposed to be so much fun) and the bare fact you have to collect body parts that assumption makes a lot of sense to me. It's the kind of larianism I can enjoy in small doses. But not enough to finish this quest haha.

It�s difficult because if you collect all the body parts, you can summon Dribbles the Forbidden One and win the game.

I can't deny I had the same filling when I've realized there are more than a head and those are not in the same area.

This one was a too big dose for me. Especially when there is one more "quest" (which is not marked as one) that I haven't finish, too - the one where you have to collect some inner body parts of some mummy or whatever.

I had a lot of fun with this quest. Maybe I'm a bad person. I thought it was funny and I immediately thought of all those stupid collecting quests that online games are so popular with, collect 10 stones and 5 wolf skins. This is dark humor but I smiled.

I never knew what this was for until recently when I explored more of the final act. I'd gone around the whole of Act 3 with a 10kg torso weighing down my pack on multiple runs... Now I guess I can just throw it into the Chionthar.

I thought it was kind of fun. Took me back to every other RPG where you do nothing but running around looking for stuff. But I also didn't have much problem finding the parts since I tend to look everywhere for things anyway. Just happened to stumbled upon them for the most part. Wouldn't have wanted more than one quest like this though. Was kind of enough with one. Although, I did feel like the one with Oscar the artist was a little too "run around and do things just for the sake of it" for my taste.

Can it be a subtle reference to the famous "golden pantaloons"? An endless and not obvious quest regarding you with an OP item.

I had a blast and I kept his body parts inside a ribcage. I thought it was fun af. It was hard to find it, but for me mostly because Act 3 has performance issues and me having to constantly restart the game broke the flow (so wandering around looking for the clown got a bit tiring amidst the lag).

I didn't really finish the quest. I kept the bodyparts, I found during other quests, but never actively looked for them. I don't like clowns, so he can stay dead for all I care.

Most of the clown parts can be found at murder locations in the city itself. The murders are ritualistic references to each of antagonists from Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal and were fun little discoveries while finding clown-chunks.
Being a compulsive explorer, I found all of the pieces through idle wandering - The tribute to Sendai was... uh... excessively impressive.
A genuine "What the hell have I happened upon?" and then you go downstairs into the basement and are just... aghast, astounded and maybe even a little disappointed that you missed out on whatever the hell happened there.
Why, exactly, clown-parts were left breadcrumbed as trophies isn't exactly clear, but the easter eggs were still fun for the BG2 veterans.

If this quest was in the first act, it would be better. By the third act, it became boring to search all the corners. More than 50k of money, 100kg of potions, I saw more than a thousand empty barrels and boxes. The interest of searches is exhausted

Thematically, though, outside of The Dark Urge the party has no ties or connections to Bhaal, Orin and the Tribunal of Murder in earlier acts.
I think it fits well enough in Act 3 as backdrop and visual storytelling. It is entirely optional, but if you're in the mindset of exploring locked or abandoned homes, you'll find them.
I will agree that there could be more clarification to steer the player towards the city after finding the first two pieces in the circus and sea cave, however.
