The PS5 combat log is terrible--the only way to see the results of checks, saves and rolls etc. is to press R2 and go to the full screen combat log and select the line item showing the action in question (on a side note, the combat log automatically scrolls to the top when new actions are taken, even when you are trying to look at the history, which is extremely annoying!) By contrast to the full screen combat log on PS5, the PC has an always-on-screen combat log in the bottom corner of the screen that one can simply mouse over actions to see the resulting rolls. PS5 should function the same...
...which bring me to my next point: there needs to be a cursor mode where you can either toggle or hold a button to bring up an arrow or cursor where the play can simply hover over the various UI elements to either select them or bring up relevant (pop-up) information. For example, the afforementioned always-on-screen combat log in order to see the resulting rolls of the actions. Another example would be "clicking" on a character portrait to view their statistics as opposed to having to use the directional pad to scroll/highlight the one you wish to view).
Admittedly, I don't know for certain that these issues are shared with PC gamers who use a controller. I do know, however, that there are some other issues with the PS5 version of the game that PC players using controllers have also reported as being prevalent.
Please comment if you share these frustrations so we can get these features fixed/implemented.
