Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Multiplayer Discussion New player joining existing game?

Friend of mine is curious as to what happens if he attempts to join a game say, I act 2 or 3. Would he be able to if there's room in the party? What about his level?

Sorry if it's a dumb question.

The game will force him to create a new character and then will auto level him to the level the other characters are at.

Alright. Wasn't sure if he'd have to play an origin or something either. He'd be ok with that, too.
