Let's move swiftly on, and not resurrect months old arguments or derail a thread about one topic by bringing up one already well covered elsewhere.

Someone* did a fan-comic in which post-game Spawn!Astarion makes it his mission to hunt down other vampire lords, kill them, and point their newly-freed spawn in the direction of the Underdark. That's a version of the "adventurer ending" that I can get behind, because it ties in nicely with the rest of his story.
