Update: good news! I fixed my issues by completely uninstalling and reinstalling my graphics device, and manually reinstalling the graphics drivers, including going to find the newest driver update which coincidentally (or maybe not…) for Intel came out on Sep 18 or Sep 20 it looks like. So if anyone is still having issues especially if you have an Intel graphics device, make sure you’ve got their latest driver update from this week. That could help your situation.
