I'm specifically talking about the Nightsong... I've read (and I dont know if it's true or not) that even after saving Isobel, if you kill the Nightsong (or allow Shadowheart to do it) then that still dooms the Last Light Inn
Alternatively, you can let Shadowheart kill the Nightsong. This has some gnarly consequences for the people back at the Last Light Inn, however. After driving her weapon home, Shadowheart will become the leader of the Sharran church and a Dark Justiciar, with a killer set of armour to match. However, slaying the daughter of Selune causes her magic to falter, dooming everyone at the Last Light Inn.
something I'm keen to avoid in this run through.
Additionally if you don't take Shadowheart with you then you lose her from your party - also something I want to avoid, so I can experience one of her non-romantic endings.
Which means I've got to a. Take Shadowheart to the Nightsong and b. Not let her kill the Nightsong.
Last run through I was romancing Shadowheart so had plenty of approval, this run through I've dumped her at camp and pretty much ignored her for all of Act I. But (again) as I understand it, if you've high approval and let her make her own choice when it comes to the Nightsong she'll spare her - which is what happened in my first run (obviously). So my question is can I still get her to spare the Nightsong if I dont have high approval? (and also only 10 charisma)
