While testing out wild shape as a moon druid, wild shape being the core feature of a moon druid, I've noticed that there is one problem that has been irritating me.
When you're in most wild shape forms, your attacks are considered unarmed strikes. So, the Tavern Brawler feat, I thought, would be amazing and help me out a lot. While it does add the strength modifier twice to the damage, it doesn't add to your chance to hit. I don't know if this was intentional, but I would appreciate an explanation if it was.
I also understand that in D&D 5e, wild shape attacks are considered natural weapons instead of unarmed strikes. I'm not sure if this is a factor though, considering that in BG3 the druid gets wild strike at 5th level which states: "You can make an additional attack after making an unarmed strike while in wild shape."
The Panther's pounce is also not considered an unarmed strike, which unfortunately means you can't take advantage of knocking enemies prone. I have since stopped using the Panther because other options are much better.
