Netflix would be a huge mistake for doing a project like this. They have a bad reputation after the Witcher fiasco. They had everything they needed to be successful and yet they managed to achieve failure from almost guaranteed success, which is in itself astonishing. They are also notorious for bailing on projects midway through and going for quantity over quality in everything they make.

The only way Netflix achieves any success is if they have no hand in making it, it's made by an independent studio, and Netflix just buys it put's their chevron on it and that's the end of the involvement from them.

Amazon is a mixed bag, they have The Boys but they also have The Rings of Power - which consumed so many resourced that they had to pull other more successful projects or trim their budgets - they don't seem to have a good process for quality control - just the lack of awareness that they spent 1 billion dollars to make a show that is utter nonsense is also astonishing. Did no-one with critical thinking skills read that script?

Everything Apple makes is over-sanitized, preachy trash. They are too worried about their brand to make anything that's good.

HBO is the best bet, but even they are under new management as it were.
