I have this eerie feeling the game "cheats" on damage dice too. I don't think I have ever seen an enemy roll low on damage. Ever. They consistently hit just below max damage, whereas my damage rolls do not enjoy such a statistical anomaly...

I did some experimentation with those skulls in the haunted house, trying to knock them out with Firebolt (was out of higher level spell slots...). The bolt does 3-30 damage and the skull takes 0 damage if you do less than 22 damage. It took on average 25-30 casts to get one hit at or above 22 damage. Needless to say clearing all the skulls in the house took some time and frustration. So I took out some actual d10:s and re-enacted this, just to see if there was any difference or getting that 7-7-8 combo or better is that rare. The result was interesting. While long streaks of below-22 did occur, on average I needed about half as many rolls to reach 22 or higher. While I'd need to do much more testing to draw any conclusions, something about the game's rng does smell bad. In any case I think it is pretty obvious that players and AI roll different "dice"...

Karmic dice are turned off.

The most common rolls are 3, 5, 6.

You are not wrong...

The number of times all my damage dice have been 1... It's insane.
