Hi, yesterday I started act II and I chose Mountain Passage first. After I entered I talked with lae’zel, saved the game, and quit. She told me that she would be waiting in camp. Today I loaded the game because I wanted her at my Party to do githanky camp quest and I got the message that she got killed by me after she was threatening my Life in the camp. The problem is I didn't kill her and choose a peaceful solution between her and Shadowheart earlier in the game, and didn't have other scenes like that after that. I even tried loading the game from the act I save and I'm getting the same Message. The problem occurred after the update. How can I fix it/what to do? PS5 version.

You are not alone, I have exatly the same issue on ALL my saves
after the update Laezel is now dead in camp for some reason and her quest is closed, even though I convinced both her and shadowheart to stand down many hours ago.

before patch 3 (during patch 1 and patch 2) my issue was:

Finished every other quest in Act 1/ act2 except the Creche but Lazael shows up as yellow outlined on my screen. When I ask her to join the party she says yes but never appears in the party. Even after leaving camp she is still not there.

to be honest it's super frustrating to have wait many weeks hoping a bug solution and finally discover that Larian prefer to "kill" this quest....

So I have no choice to continue the game without her, or restart completly a new game....

for all players, is is ok to do the game without lae or it's mandatory ?

I sended e-mail to support few days ago, i will keep you updated. This quest isn’t mandatory but it was interesting for me and wanted to see dialog options if she is in my party in the githyanki camp.

I also reported this to the support. A few days ago I was asked for a save file where this occurs, so hopefully this gets fixed soon. Even though her questline is not mandatory, I have still stopped playing until this gets resolved.
