seems to be so natural to be able to instantly access everyone's inventory, skills, etc. limited party size vs requiring certain characters in the party for story purposes is a classic ludo-narrative crpg problem (e.g., why can't i just take everyone? what do you mean "least your party become too powerful"?), and instant camp access from (almost) anywhere is - also almost - a perfect solution. it's an audaciously generous move, but that gordian knot had to be cut. "almost" because swapping characters while in camp is still unnecessarily tedious. moving inventory items via another character, juggling buffs, listening to their heartbroken parting lines is just so much overhead.
and while we are at it, it would be great to be able to use long rest supplies directly from party stash, without requiring it to be moved to someone's inventory.
