I'm not sure if I want a series based on BG3, but I agree that Honor Among Thieves was great.
I like Netflix's Cowboy Bebop (it definitely could've done better), I didn't watch the Witcher series (I didn't play the game either, not an RPG).
I think the best course of action if WOTC were to approve another movie product is the sequel for the film.
The BG3 probably would got canonized into a Novel or something, it's inevitable. -- Whether you like the canonize lore, is another matter (you probably not gonna like it while thinking your headcanon is the best canon, it's not, it's sucks too, mine is better).
