Currently Uncanny Dodge is an ability that you have to toggle on and off beforehand in Passive, while every other reactions is listed in Reaction and will pop-up a confirmation window when they can be triggered.

Not only is the current way a terrible way to use it, it's also unintuitive, I spent who know how long looking for it in Reaction tab for about half of the campaign, only to find it in passive, when I'm trying to toggle off Sharpshooter: All In on Astarion.

I wouldn't say it's a "terrible way to use it". If anything it's far too convenient, since it's a "fire and forget" you have to activate once and never disable again.

More than anything is a wrong implementation, since UD is supposed to be a REACTION that consume your... well, reaction, and can be activated just once per round, rather than being a passive with no downside whatsoever.

It is a terrible way, because this way you don't get to choose your reaction, and you have to anticipate what is to come first.

Wasting a reaction halving the damage when if you use defensive duelist, you could have avoided the damage all together.

Agreed, but I would also do this with the OP saying that it's presented in unintuitive manner. I would almost end the game without realizing it's here and wondering where is that reaction my two rogues should have, but then that's maybe on me as I'm a person who knows D&D rules and I expected it to be a reaction. ^^"

But that's the ting... Unless they changed something with a recent update, it does NOT use a reaction. In its current implementation it's just a passive buff.
