Voice 2 is Jen
Voice 4 is Devora
Voice 6 is Sam
Voice 8 is Amelia

The issue is not so much that the voices are similar, or too British or whatever, but that the bark lines themselves are identical.

It's not like one voice set says "Lets hope the locals are friendly" while another set says...

"Lets hope the locals haven't heard about what we did"

"Good, the locals will never see it coming"

"No one is more local!"

Stuff like that

There should be viable options for female and male barbarians too. If British English is the common language in Baldur's Gate, then barbarians should be distinguishable by their heavy foreign accents.
In spite of the 'baldurian' tag that was wrongfully applied to my barbarian character, barbarians obviously are not from the city.

We have people modding this with AI voices. The mods are actually pretty good and I think these AI fuelled mods will end up delivering enough variety of good quality. The problem is that the voice files don't actually contain all the lines of a specific voice. There's a variety of lines that are hidden somewhere else and impossible to find. If Larian could "just" move all the voice lines into the file containing 90% of the voicelines, then the modders could convert everything and we're golden.

Just digging around on imdb trying to see who voiced Roah (didn't find her, must be one of the credits listed as "various" but anyhow saw the custom Tavs "Tadpoled Adventurer" listed with a different actor for each.

I wish that they'd have given them each a set of bark lines to read. They could have built out a pretty massive library of voices for the custom Tavs. I mean there are a lot of people on that list, and so many characters that were just incredible.
