Good people get bitten to death by their own dogs all the time, so why couldn't they be evil? I mean, it's not like they know how the puppies will be raised... Remember, they are gonna be raised in an evil lair. Besides, puppies are cute and once they're big they can tear off the limbs of the good people. No offence to any good person of course. A good Cerberus also needs a dragon head though... Maybe we can add a lizard's head or so? Maybe a good "animate whatever the hell that is" spell would be handy too?

Seems like the dragon/dog combo is winning for now... Yup, of course, once in a while we'd invite good people to feed it. Or just advertise with like
"Evil lair
Lots of stolen treasure,
free entry for hero's"
And then our evil creation will get it's daily meal, after all, no hero can resist plundering evil lairs.
