Hi,

I really would like to know why Larian is REMOVING ( for the shipping build ) already existing features that would be a huge help for all modders? ( + players! )

This console is super useful for everyone who is creating FREE content for your game ... and you don't value their time!
I've even used that console to fix bugs, If devs know there are bugs, then they should leave exposed the means to assist or bypass said bugs ... Disabling features that would help players is a BIG no no ...
As example Skyrim,Fallout and ofc Starfield ... if you ever had any quest bugs or whatever, you google it and you can probably fix it with the debug console ...

The thing is:
Larian does not behave consistent, they say basically "we like our modders" and then they removing stuff that is valuable for modders, so one the one hand they want to marketing how mod-friendly they are, and on the other hand they show how much they don't value the time of the modders ( + players who suffer from bugs )

It's the same with Cyberpunk ... same marketing bla bla and as soon someone wrote a "console unlocker" CD Projekt tried to remove the whole console ( patch 1.05 ) and they still claim "we like our modders" ...

Im a reverse-engineer and I mostly write Dev-Console/Menu "Unlocker":

I also did this for BG3, I emulated a buffer to execute functions from the console ...

But I really ask myself "why should I do that?" that is something the game developer should provide, especially if they claim how much they support modding ...
Coz of this I stopped updating my console-emulator and I won't write anything more for BG3, there are lots of Devs who value my time and I will support them with great mods!

That's it, Larian is on my blacklist until they realize that ... coz they obviously lie and they only want good marketing smirk
