I was doing the quest of Summoning Demon and I get all the right stuff. The summoning book from the female assasin. The old wine from the guy who want me to burn a merchant's cart, but I did not want to do that so I say no and someone else burn the cart. All I do now is to tell the watch and the guy was capture and I can steal the wine bottle from his room in the Inn <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />. The Talking Tree bark I was too afraid to go in the Dark forest, so I buy a Talking Tree branch from the merchant that have his cart burned down.
I go to the summoner and she tell me to get a plant from her backyard, then go to the basement. When she summon it she say "It is out of control" and "Run for your life" or something. Then she get eaten, and I run to the first floor and the demon now haunting the basement <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />.
Is there a way the summoner do not die and I learn how to summon?

Summoning ritual will be a success if you've got the correct branch = tree/Dark Forest. But you should throw away the fake branch first before speaking to her.

BTW, you learn banish from Corinna, not summoning. If you wish to learn this skill, just choose it - which class are you playing?
You just have to move to the mage path in the skill/abilities book (click on < > ) and then choose/confirm the spell.
