i think it reminds me of a game from years ago called faxanadu,

i bought that game on my NES (nintendo 8-bit)
it was a pretty strage game for me. verry "loonly" game..but i enjoyed every bit of it.
it had some nice features.
it toke me aged to find out you could fly above to find that special dungeon.
becose these flying boots or how do you call them were very expansive to bye. and you could only use these boots in that special spot .(to get something in return)
