In act 1 if you go to the cave beneath the grove where the Goblin Sazza would escape and where the Druids statue defenses are and you destroy the statues instead of disabling them it will or can cause your combat to be bugged from there on out.

Example while in combat:

Your character uses a ranged attack *2 seconds to register them shooting*
The arrow flys and the enemy either moves as if it misses or will flinch as if shot but the number and the impact wont show for another 3-4 seconds.

I discovered this after I destroyed several of the statues and went to save Mirkon from the harpies. Immediately you could tell something was wrong with the delays. A simple re-load and replay of the caves while disabling the statues instead of destroying the statues fixed this issue. I hope this helps and stops you from having to restart your game entirely!

Yes.... This is already mentioned in several threads like here https://forums.larian.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=902431#Post902431

Problem is if you were way past this when the latest patch happened you have no way of going back to a previous save.

I have had to stop playing until they fix this. I've moved in to other games sadly.

Unfortunately Hotfix #8 didn't fix this for me.
There's still a massive delay between picking an action and seeing the animation/sound. Even when walking around my characters have rubberbanding. I still see the destroyed guardian statues in the underground passage rapidly jump around which, like has been pointed out, is suspected to be a cause (or symptom of the actual cause).
