DLC suggestion would be to improve the evil story options so that you could play a proper evil play through without getting sidelined on companions / adding more companions.

I would add a DLC which allows you to kill the grove after recruiting minthra in act 2 if you left Neer alive recruit him as a replacement for Wyll with his own storyline as a warlock of the great old one. With a unique ability to create a force conduit. I would add Dror Ragslin and a quest to go back to the goblin camp bring the goblins back into power as part of his quest with a unique rally feature as part of his abilities. To replace Minsc and Jahira I would give an option where Kagha escapes during the raid on the grove and later offers to join with a unique summon for her snake pet. To replace minsc they could look at a few options as a late game character I personally like Balthazar adding a necromancer option. A few new items and some additional quests for the evil side. This could be focused more on act 1 and act 2 fleshing them out more.

That by itself could be a dlc adding just some story arc to the existing game id pay 14.99 for a DLC like that.

A second DLC I would expand more into act 3 adding some more quests in act 2 the Artificer class hobgoblins as a race and 2 new good companons 2 new evil companions. For the Good Side I would add a good Gnome Artificer maybe one from the characters in act 3 I wont name who to avoid spoilers and Alfira the bard. The Artificer would be recruitable in act 3 and alfira in act 2. With some options added to make this possible. For the Evil Side I would add the Dark Urge as recruitable character at the end of act 2 for the evil side only with appearances in act 1 as the white dragon born sorcerer varient the second companion I would make a recruitable Dwarf Ranger and make sure to make them mutually exclusive. I would additionally add a weapon armor and Jewelery Crafting system expanding on there existing tools in game add a few property options keep it pretty basic. Expand existing options for items add some additional spells a few new areas to explore more work on act 3 and 2. Party Size to 5 a few new areas to explore and again DLC around 14.99.

Third DLC I would finally increase the level limit to 14 and add the upper city more work focusing on the other parts of the story with the dead 3. 1 New companion for each side. Add Aasimir very long awaited and a Paladin. New subclasses for each class Goblins new subraces, More items more crafting options some new quests in all 3 acts A few small areas in act 1 and 2. A evil bard companion for the evil side of the game. New legendarys expand the party size to 6. Update the encounters 25.99 for the DLC.

This gives them a fairly slow expansion rate but adds a lot of content. The third dlc taking more work on there end I felt this was best to leave till later so there was time to flesh out an entirely new area and adding 2 levels based on the way they did there existing progression for content I would aim to see DLC 1 before Xmas if possible with DLC 2 around June next year and DLC 3 around Xmas next year as target guidelines. But those are just my thoughts thats addressing a large amount of things brought up by the community. These are just my thoughts most of this is just expanding on already existing content and not outside the price of normal DLC content It also basically makes them the same amount of net cash as the original game over 3 DLCs in 2 years as they made in 6 on BG 3 original release. Giving them room to expand there team as needed to work on other projects.
