I am encountering a bug where Vlaakith won't appear after handing over the artifact OR refusing and battling the inquisitor. From what I understand, this bug has been fixed already but I am experience it now. I tried all the advice I could find online. Having my Tav be the only one talking, talking to first the healer, commander, then the inquisitor. Tried reloading saves and entering through the side entrance. Tried disabling my mods. And a lot of other stuff but nothing works. I don't want to restart my save as I'm afraid that the problem will persist but I will do it if I have to.

Does anyone have some sort of fix or solution to this?

@Nikebackwards, I guess that would be Ekin. Can you describe what occurs after you select the dialogue option to hand over the artifact?

Fades to black then and I'm kicked out of dialogue into normal camera view. When interacting with the inquisitor he tells me to place the artifact on the planecaster but I can't do so as I haven't had the Vlaakith interaction.

For the other option of refusing and battling the inquisitor, nothing happens after I kill everyone. Tried to cast speak undead but after speaking to him nothing progresses.

Alright, looking for trigger events here that could have screwed up load order somehow for the dialogue (even if it shouldn't matter, it's good to rule it out). Once you entered the creche, did you attack anyone, did you do the Zaithisk, basically what did you do while inside before going to see the Inquisitor?

I can list out all the different things I tried out in the Creche:

Back entrance -> Instructor (Non-combat) -> Left to finish monastery -> Main Entrance -> Researcher with Lae'zel in machine (Non-combat) -> Egg man (Non-combat) -> Produced Artifact for Commander -> Produced Artifact for Inquisitor

Back entrance -> Instructor (Non-combat) -> Left to finish monastery -> Main Entrance -> Researcher with Lae'zel in machine (Non-combat) -> Egg man (Non-combat) -> Produced Artifact for Commander -> Combat with Inquisitor

Reloaded save to enter Main Entrance First (I do this from here on) -> Researcher with Lae'zel in machine (Non-combat) ->Produced Artifact for Commander -> Produced Artifact for Inquisitor

Main Entrance -> Researcher with Lae'zel in machine (Non-combat) -> Stolen Key from Commander -> Produced Artifact for Inquisitor

Main Entrance -> Researcher with Lae'zel in machine (Non-combat) -> Stolen Key from Commander -> Combat with Inquisitor

Main Entrance -> Researcher with Tav in machine (Non-combat) -> Produced Artifact with Commander -> Produced Artifact for Inquisitor

Main Entrance -> Researcher with Tav in machine (Non-combat) -> Stolen Key from Commander -> Produced Artifact for Inquisitor

Main Entrance -> Stolen Key from Commander -> Produced Artifact with Inquisitor

Main Entrance -> Produced Artifact for Commander-> Produced Artifact for Inquisitor


I have been skipping Egg Man and Instructor as advice I read online only mentioned interacting with the Researcher, Commander, and Inquisitor. I could try to interact act with them as well or simply kill everyone but trying to mix and match everything to find the trigger will take a good bit of time.

@Vegor thanks for you trying to help but found a solution, just not a good one atm. Had to reload an autosave before I even entered the Mountain Pass. I beelined straight to the Gith Creche and got a trigger for Vlaakith. Unfortunately will have to redo a few hours worth of gameplay as I was doing the forge master boss fight. Sucks but beats restarting my save.
