My boyfriend and I are both bummed that the options for finishing the quest are just really bad if you're trying to play good:
- raise her dead husband for her (a no-no on Good characters)
- raise her dead husband for you (even worse, lol)
- snap the wand right in front of her after presenting it as a solution (unreasonably cruel for a Good character)

The best "good" solution here is to just offer her a prayer and walk away with your quest incomplete...

I'd be satisfied with just an option to lie, like:
[DECEPTION] I couldn't find anything that might help, I'm sorry.

Or like the above suggestion #3, to just offer her some gold for the trip back or something (I can feel Astarion's disapproval)
