At least it gives more closure than the Tav ending will, as it puts light to what happens based on the decision you push him into. I think this is more or less the same for any other origin companion playthrough, though I haven't seen all of them. If you copy and paste their ending to the end of their Tav ending, you'll get a fuller picture of what happens with them. Even with that, it's all really short.
