Please give us broader access to Tav's "You can feed on me tonight, if you'd like" dialogue line toward Astarion, if possible!
REASONING:
1.) Trigger too specific. The trigger enabling that line was so specific, many of us Asty-mancers have missed it. There were several equally fitting and good lines to say to him in that particular convo (way back in Act 1), even on the same level of the dialogue tree, and we did not realise that that one specific line would be the one triggering the above permanent dialogue opening option.
It would be great if the trigger could be approval-based or romance-based, or even broad enough to include all who had given him blood on bite night... or every Tav, really. Any player could change their mind about this and try it, or do it once or twice for tactical advantage or for role-play reasons.
I do wanna personally feed my vamp; after all, I'm one of the weirdoes you've created the Amulet of Silvanus for!
(Has the Lesser Restoration perk, that gets rid of the Bloodless status)2.) Trigger context a bit confusing/not obvious. The line needed for the "You can feed on me tonight, if you'd like" dialogue line to appear in the future is not really an answer to the question Astarion poses right before it, so it's a less desirable option to pick because it seems out of context.
THE TRIGGER CONTEXT:
Tav: I need to know how we'll feed you in the future.
Astarion: (...) And if I happen to drain the occasional bandit during a fight, what's the harm? They're just as dead.
Tav:
1. Alright, but I'll be watching.
2. Sounds good. Glad we could agree.
3. No, you can't feed on people! Animals only.
4. Look, I'm not against you feeding on me, but only if we talk about it first.
(Underlined font styling added by me)
Above, I did not pick option 4 because it seemed to have nothing to do with Astarion's question (Tav is neither an enemy nor a bandit after all), so I thought it was too random a line and unrelated. Also, I felt like the rule of whether or not he can feed on humanoid enemies NEEDS to be addressed, so I picked option 2.
...And I kept dutifully waiting for the feeding option line to appear (because I've heard of it in social media as a meme), maybe with an approval raise, maybe by going into Act 2, maybe only after going into Act 3, or maybe after a specific romance cut scene... waiting until I learned I've missed the trigger near the beginning of Act 1, and thus locked myself out of this option for the rest of the game.
I've seen several posts & comments on reddit and Facebook by Astarion fans lamenting the same (that they've missed the trigger because it wasn't obvious to them, kept waiting for the feeding option, and then realised too late in the game what trigger they've missed). So it would be a great change if you could make this Tav dialogue line more broadly accessible (=less specific/strict trigger).
As always, thank you for your hard work and dedication! And to anyone reading this: have a good week!
