Okay unpopular opinion here, but I don't really like Alfira, honestly, just not AT ALL my kind of look, the pink hair, the clown outfit, just no.. But hey, each to their own, I'd not be opposed to her being an option, as long as we also got Quil as an alternative, too. She isn't even a bard in DnD sense, she is a musician. Given her singing is awful enough to make squirrels hate it, I'd say she's got the psychic damage of Vicious Mockery down, though. I mean, squirrels probably hear tunes differently - objectively she can sing.

It might be a weird pick, but I would like to recruit Danthelon, the owner of the Danthelon Axe in the BG3 suburbs.
I liked his VA, his snarky attitutde and it would be certainly refreshing to get a companion with that utterly pragmatic, no-nonsense, clever local boss vibe.

Ghustil Stornugoss would be a nice companion, too - Maybe under the reasoning that she believes we owe her after - so that she can see what's up with our parasites, and this "Absolute" - Not sure what class she'd be, if Artificer was available, she'd make for a fine Alchemist, without that, though, no idea.

She's either a Var'ith'n(artificer) or a Ghustil (healer/cleric) considering that she runs the infirmary.

Clerics worship gods though, then again, I suppose Clerics of Vlaakith are a thing, and given her profession, I'd say Knowledge domain would suit her well.

It's because Musician is the most common type of a Bard, you rarely come across one that isn't a musician, most people don't know that Bard is a catch all term for anytype of entertainer, a Jester is a bard, a Magician is a bard, a Prostitute is a bard (weird but makes sense), an Actor is a bard, a Screenwriter is a bard, even a Vtuber is a bard (could probably do that in D&D simply by combining Alterself and Astral Projection spells).

I'm talking about the DnD class - Alfira doesn't have any magical abilities or can fight in any way - she is a musician, but not a DnD bard, she is a commonoer, is what I mean.

Aradin, Wulbren, and Florrick all seem like they would make good companions to me and are in good spots of the game for it.
In Florrick's she'd be an Act 3 joiner

I mean if you want a really OP NPC as a Companion just grab Elminster, the guy has a literal portal to Earth, he could pretty much grab us chocolate bars and bags of chips from the nearest IRL grocery store, if he wanted to.

I mean Elminster joining the party would mean that Larian would implement at least level 30.
So for that reason, sure.

I can see my Durge character quite liking to have He Who Was along, something very compelling about that guy. Plus only Shadar-kai in the game. Actually they are neutral aligned I think, so maybe my paladin might like him around as well.

Nadira is definitely another one, he attitude is hilarious to me. Shame we don't see much more of her. As I've said before; Xeph as well... haha I'm sounding like a broken record.

Another one would be the Zhentarim Caravan chap. Rugan. Although it would probably mess with something down the line but I like that guy. Plus he owes me a drink.

Man i would Reaaaally rather have Alfira as Companion then Halsin or Karlach... Even Zevlor i would liked more then Halsin..rs Yu dont need 2 Druids as companions that was a Big Mistake from Larian.. becouse yu will get the LEGEND as Druid will say nothing more.. becouse of Spoilers.. But Alfira as a Bard would have BEEEN GREAT>>>> bards are really cool in this game if yu build then the right way.. BTW sorry for the Poor English.. im trying my best

Kagha because she gets a journey of redemption which makes more sense than having Halsin Alfira because bard (I heard Larian hates bards, but I have no idea why) Zevlor because you can get another paladin companion if you dont get Minthara Helia (datamined scrapped companion, so I don't know if this counts) because, again bard, and we don't have any short companions for some reason
