We don't get that in this game. But, on the other hand, there are just a ton of playable races now. It is much harder to have them all represented well. There were only six core races in 2e AD&D.

Though Bioware cheated slightly by still have a Drow and Tiefling character (a pre-horned 2e version).


Agreed! But Jan was a treasure, annoying all companions as much as annoying the player!

Just give me a drunken dwarf stereotype and I will be happy. Loved Khelgar from NWN2 and while a stereotype in the beginning, he could be pushed to become a monk what was fantastic!

Jan was great and if you talk to him a few times, you get that his sillyness was often for show.

I like dwarf companions, but not the drunk, please - I hated Oghren with passion.
