I noticed i had similar problems with other games: i discovered one of last Windows 10 update disabled virtual memory with no paging file.

I finally solved the issue in this way:

Open Settings.
Click on System.
Click on About.
Under the "Related settings" section, click the System info option.
Click the "Advanced system settings" option from the left pane.
Click the Advanced tab.
Under the "Performance" section, click the Settings button.
Click the Advanced tab.
Under the "Virtual memory" section, click the Change button.
Enabled "Automatically manage paging files size for all drives" option.
Rebooted PC

Now works like a charm!!!!!!
I'm extremely skeptical about this one given that PS5 users are experiencing the same bug - so it can't just be a Windows thing. And given the known root cause I can't imagine how changing memory management settings would fix it in any way.

Happy to be corrected if anyone else has success with this - but I seriously doubt we're talking about the same bug here.
