That just wastes time."

Gamers in 2023 omg what a bore.
I am sure you love your gameworlds to be like a Excel database were you point and click and instant travel locations ASAP. Do you also keep a pie chart and scientific calculator handy to get the most focused powerful built??

But you know what, some people like to EXPLORE the worlds and be IMMERSED in the world. They impose RESTRICTIONS to have fun. NOT a waste of time. Game makers and yourself now-days don't seem to get that. Why we have NO gameplay/difficulty options in game. Some game makers like Owlcat and Obsidian get that (PoE Deadfire, Pathfinder WoTr for example). The offer lots of customizable difficulty and gameplay options.

Enjoy your boring spreadsheet instant gratification gameplay. Other people will enjoy their "waste of time" clearly more immersive gameplay.

This is a great thread and Larian should look into the "why" people self impose RULES to have more fun...to maybe implement some of these ideas in options.

It just reminded me of the bowl of goat's milk that old Winthrop used to put outside his door every evening for the dust demons. He said the dust demons could never resist goat's milk, and that they would always drink themselves into a stupor and then be too tired to enter his room..
