Whenever DLC pops up I copy and paste the same thing:
Legacy: some more classic stuff and one or two old friends again. Although really only one makes total sense - Aerie; she won’t have physically aged at all and has the closest connection with Minsc. And you can return a classic companion who is also kind of a new character, since she obviously wouldn't be the same kid still recovering from abuse and trauma that she was in BG2. She'll have seen and experienced a lot more, be more confident and independent - maybe even sassy due to hanging around Imoen (you could effectively roll several characters into her since she was friends with and taught by them). Embraced gnomish ideas more than we saw before, maybe her relationship with Jaheira evolved to being even more of a mother/daughter type thing where they might argue but obviously do have affection for each other. Years travelling, helping people, battling slavers, finding Faenya-Dail then realizing the Avariel are actually really boring, maybe even explored the planes a bit (her relationship with Haer’Dalis didn’t last long, but he still instilled in her an interest in such things; maybe that’s how she learns what really happened to Minsc, by making contact with Dynaheir). She could be a quippy action hero, or you could potentially just go full Autistic Pixie Dreamgirl™. You can easily pop her anywhere looking for Minsc, protecting refugees, or helping Jaheira (Harpers are supposed to oppose oppression and slavery so it’s likely she’ll have worked with them).
That would tie the trilogy together and let us have a full classic party, although a Jansen or a Fentan popping up would be neat too.
