I'm glad you get your groups together Zentu, that's a good thing. We've gotten groups together too, and our guild Tyrs Paladium has provided feedback since the beginning. We are ALL for the success of Baldurs Gate 3. I signed up in here for ONE reason only. Baldurs Gate, so that's where my commitments lie.

How is multiplayer a swing and a miss thusfar? Goodness. I haven't heard a single person, not ONE that has played multiplayer and said that they just love it. That's a pretty good sign that Larian missed the mark don't you think?

I'm not a doom poster. I'm here to bring people together and play together. We are a D&D guild of online gamers that love the IP and was hoping to see Larian take grouping much more seriously.

Have you seen the community's feedback in my thread on this topic? There are definately ways that Larian can right the ship? I would LOVE to see Larian announce that they will grant more of the wishes of this valuable portion of the playerbase. We are very happy to see the improvements they made already.

For some its already too late, but for plenty of others they would really consider paying and playing if these features get added. And I know many would come back to play if MP offered more control. I wonder WHAT IS Larian's commitment to the game now and into the future now that they've hauled in all the big bucks at launch? I know you are wondering the EXACT SAME THING Zentu, if I'm reading your post correctly.

TOP 10 MULTI-PLAYER SUGGESTIONS

SUGGESTION 1: A PARTY VOTE SYSTEM.

SUGGESTION 2: MAKE SPLIT SCREEN A TOGGLE PLAYER CHOICE.

SUGGESTION 3: ADD THE OPTION TO AUTOMATICALLY JOIN OTHER PLAYERS' CONVERSATIONS SO YOU DON'T MISS THE START OF THE CONVERSATION.

SUGGESTION 4: PARTY LEADER NEEDS COMPLETE CONTROL OVER PARTY CONFIGURATION AT ALL TIMES. IN PARTICULAR, WHEN SOMEONE JOINS A FULL PARTY, THE PARTY LEADER SHOULD HAVE CONTROL OVER WHICH NPC TO REPLACE OR TO DISMISS OR PARK A CHARACTER THAT NO LONGER PLAYS.

SUGGESTION 5: DM Mode. DOS2 quality GM mode that lets you take control of any NPC and play as them, so in a fight, you would control all the bad guys. You can spawn in enemies, create scenarios, items etc...

SUGGESTION 6: Shared dialogue as long as the party is grouped up. It's immersion-breaking that you can't have your most charismatic person speak for the party regardless of who gets "tagged" in the conversations.

SUGGESTION 7: The player who is leading the conversation should be able to "request" bonuses/party buffs to be added from the other players (i.e. guidance). The other player would just get a popup asking them to confirm if they want to cast it. That way you don't have to leave the conversation to cast it.

SUGGESTION 8: Dismiss multiplayer characters that no longer play. Need this option implemented. I have now a useless game save where 2 players no longer play so we want to remove them but if they do rejoin we should be able to recover them like any other character.

SUGGESTION 9: Multiplayer CHAT WINDOW for in-game written communication and Role Playing purposes.

SUGGESTION 10: We need a way to see who is observing our dialogues or scenes. When I'm playing with other people, we constantly need to check if everybody is following the dialogue. Maybe a small icon on the bottom left with the player's name.

PS: I cleaned up my previous post a bit, out of respect for you and the community. You're right, that bit a bit too hard wink

I think the problem is that your low-effort, narrow minded posts open themselves up to correction which must seem like condescension to you. Luckily you have found your level with all the conversations you are involved in and hedged out anyone that could possibly disagree or have a more complex viewpoint.

Must be nice. I can't stand sycophants myself but to someone like you it must be like heaven.

I think I am done here. If they are scraping the barrel with mods like yourself then I am out.
